LOCATION AND DATES

The 25th ICAS Congress will be held at the CCH Congress Center Hamburg, Germany from Sunday, 3 September to Friday, 8 September 2006.

CONGRESS CENTER HAMBURG

The North German metropolitan region ranks alongside Seattle and Toulouse as one of the world´s leading centres for civil aviation. Hamburg is a city with short distances. The exhibition grounds are centrally located in town. The Congress Center right next door, and hotels as well as the nearest ICE railway station are just a few minutes´ walk away. Hamburg also has one of the best public transport networks in Europe. Numerous underground and rapid-transit lines and bus services will take you wherever you want to go. The city is yours to explore – public transport is included in your registration fee, ticket is handed out on site with registration.

CONGRESS PROCEEDINGS

The ICAS 2006 Congress proceedings are available on CD-ROM, which are included in the registration fee where indicated. Additional CDROM can be ordered with the registration form at a cost of 120 EUR. For viewing the CD-ROM computers will be available on the first floor at the CCH venue. If you require hard copies of single papers, they are
available for purchase on-site (papers in the CDROM only). Orders are made at the registration desk at a cost of 2 EUR per paper (black & white copy only). Ordered hard copies will be available at the registration desk by the following morning. Preordering on the registration form is not available.

INSURANCE

Participants are advised to take out their own travel insurance and to extend any private policies for personal possessions they may be bringing with them. The Congress does not cover pariticipants against travel, cancellations or bookings or loss/theft of belongings.
